Sunny San Diego Leads the Nation in Solar

San Diego is a shining example of a city invested in clean energy, clean air and local green jobs. It is a city invested in building a bright future for all of its residents. And while it has always been recognized for its advancements in solar technology and its position to shape the future of renewable energy, America’s finest city has officially jumped to the No. 1 spot in America for total solar installations.

According to a report released by the Environment California Research and Policy Center, San Diego surpassed Los Angeles to officially take the lead in total solar capacity—setting a clean energy standard for other cities across the nation. 

Safely and reliably connecting private solar
