National City Auto Heritage Day to Feature Electric Vehicle Test Drives

The technology and design of automobiles have changed significantly over time. For car lovers who enjoy comparing the newest makes and models of electric vehicles (EV) to century-old classic cars, the place to be is the Auto Heritage Day Festival & Car Show, taking place this Saturday in National City.

More than 200 vehicles will be on display at the event, which will also feature live entertainment, food vendors and activities for children.

While you are there, enjoy free test drives of the latest models of electric cars, including the Tesla Model X and Model 3. Those who participate in the test drives will be entered into a drawing to win a limited number of $1,000 vouchers from SDG&E toward an EV purchase.

Explore the Green Zone

Our clean transportation team, along with other sustainability-focused organizations, will be on-hand to share their knowledge about the benefits of driving electric, energy efficiency, water conservation, waste diversion, and health & wellness.

Be sure to stop by the SDG&E booth if you are interested in learning about what our company is doing to support clean transportation. We have launched a host of initiatives, including programs to expand EV charging infrastructure and special electricity pricing plans for EV drivers.

With rising gas prices, now is the time to explore EVs. Driving a plug-in EV and enrolling in an EV pricing plan can help you save money. Our team will be available to answer any questions you may have.

Fun for the Whole Family

This year’s event offers live entertainment, a video gaming bus, face painting, food vendors, arts and crafts, games, and even the opportunity to paint an old car.
