Spotlight: Helping Ronald McDonald House to Provide Hope to Families

Watch KUSI on Saturday morning, Feb. 10 to learn more about the charity

Each year, hundreds of families with critically ill children benefit from the “home-away-from-home” services provided by the Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego (RMHCSD).

The good work RMHCSD does inspire many passionate supporters, including a group of SDG&E employees, some of whom received help from the charity when their children were battling serious illnesses.

Since 2014, this dedicated group has rallied their colleagues to donate funds to support the vital programs and services RMHCSD provides. The group has increased their fundraising totals each year, setting a record in 2017 with more than $25,000 raised by our employees and the Sempra Energy Foundation.

Recently, our employees presented RMHCSD with the donation and some of our top fundraisers shared their experiences with KUSI News for an upcoming segment highlighting the positive impact RMHCSD makes in our communities.

Tune into KUSI’s Good Morning San Diego on Feb. 10 from 6 to 11 a.m. to learn more about Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego.
