SDG&E, San Diego Regional Clean Cities to Host Webinar on Transitioning Fleet Vehicles to Electric Vehicles

Join SDG&E and San Diego Regional Clean Cities for a webinar July 29th to gain insight into the resources and funding available to transition to medium- and heavy-duty EVs

Are you or someone you know looking for ways to make their company more environmentally conscious? One great way to do this is by electrifying your company's vehicle fleet.

A fleet manager must consider numerous factors when making the decision to electrify, such as the vehicle cost, infrastructure installation, permitting, and maintenance. SDG&E recently launched an incentive program designed to help fleets save money, eliminate emissions, and simplify maintenance throughout the transition.

Join the webinar on Wednesday, July 29th at 10am to learn about the resources and incentives offered through the utility program. South Coast Air Quality Management District will also share the funding opportunities available to San Diego fleets to buy down the cost of electrification. Register here.

Interested in the work SDG&E is doing to make it easier and more affordable for San Diego residents and companies to transition to driving electric? SDG&E’s Power Your Drive program is one of several initiatives the company is taking to advance clean energy and make EV charging accessible for all.

Currently, we're implementing a program to install charging infrastructure for medium-duty and heavy-duty trucks and buses through the Power Your Drive for Fleets program, which will be featured in the upcoming webinar. This program will assist schools, municipalities, transit operators, and both large/small businesses to defray some of the costs to convert their vehicles.

SDG&E is also in the planning stage of the Power Your Drive for Schools, Parks and Beaches program that was approved late last year. This program will bring about 340 EV chargers to those locations.
