SDG&E Leads the Charge for Electric Vehicles in New PBS NewsHour Story

San Diego Gas & Electric’s (SDG&E’s) efforts to reduce its carbon footprint and clean the air through electric drive are garnering national attention.

A reporter for PBS’ national NewsHour program recently visited SDG&E to learn more about how communities are embracing electric transportation, and to discuss the hurdles for consumers that want to make the switch to electric drive.

SDG&E is at the forefront of developing solutions for customers choosing some of the cleanest modes of transportation, offering some of the most innovative EV charging rate options, and will roll out 3,500 charging stations to multi-family communities and underserved communities over the next three years through the Power Your Drive program.
