There is an extra incentive to attend this year’s San Diego Auto Show, Dec. 27-30, at the San Diego Convention Center.
Forty $1,000 rebates will be handed out to lucky winners as part of opportunity drawings administered by Plug in America whose mission is accelerate the transition to clean transportation.
In collaboration with SDG&E, Plug in America will host drawings each day of the four-day Auto Show to give out ten $1,000 rebates daily to help winners offset the cost of purchasing or leasing a new fully electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle. A total of $40,000 will be given out.
Opportunity drawing terms and restrictions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Winners must provide Plug In America with a copy of their most recent SDG&E bill to redeem their rebate.
- One winner per household.
- Must use the rebate to purchase or lease a new qualified plug-in electric vehicle from PlugStar Preferred Dealers certified by Plug in America (plugstar.com/sdge).
- The rebate is available only at the time of purchase. It cannot be applied after taking delivery of the vehicle.
Eco-Center at the Auto Show
Plug in America’s opportunity drawings will take place inside the Auto Show’s Eco-Center area, where the latest electric vehicle models will be on display.
SDG&E will have experts available for all four days of the show stationed at the Eco-Center to answer questions about EV pricing plans, charging infrastructure programs, and other initiatives the company is engaged in to help overcome barriers to EV adoption.
EV Day at the Auto Show will be Friday, Dec. 28.
