You Can Make a Difference! Help at Coastal Cleanup Day
Register today for the worldwide cleanup effort
Looking to help your community? Grab some friends and family members of all ages and join SDG&E’s Environmental All-Stars, I Love A Clean San Diego and thousands of fellow San Diegans on Saturday, September 16 for the 33rd Annual Coastal Cleanup Day.
From removing trash at our coastlines, to planting native species and revitalizing community parks, Coastal Cleanup Day will mobilize San Diegans to protect and restore our oceans and inland waterways.
Families are encouraged to bring their children to one of over 100 cleanup sites throughout the county to be part of Coastal Cleanup Day and help benefit every corner of our region. In 2016, more than 7,500 volunteers removed more than 150,000 pounds of litter to improve our communities and prevent tons of trash from reaching our oceans.
Be part of the global solution
Being a part of Coastal Cleanup Day isn’t just about helping our region—it’s a worldwide movement that brings together hundreds of thousands of people in dozens of countries with the same goal—keeping our oceans clean today for a healthy tomorrow.
